How We Work | Chimhanda Tutoring

Over the years, we have learnt what actually helps students and what can hinder their progress. We then removed all hindrances, leaving us with an optimised system equipped to assist Cambridge Maths Online Tutoring students. This has led to us mastering How We Work. Kindly note that this is the only tutoring system that we use and that we only accept clients who want to use it as well. 

1-On-1 Tutoring

We only offer our students 1-on-1 tutoring. We do not do any group sessions in any way or form. This ensures that we cater to the needs of one student at a time, enhancing the educational process.

Online Tutoring

All our lessons occur online via Zoom. We do not offer in-person lessons due to their lack of flexibility and limitations. Offering online lessons allows us to incorporate technology into our lessons and provide better education.

One Hour Lessons

We only offer one-hour lessons per day. We do not offer any lessons that take less or more time. Single-hour lessons ensure that our students understand and remain focused throughout the lesson.

Weekly Lessons

We only accept clients who are looking for weekly lessons. We do not offer our lessons on an "as per request basis". At Chimhanda Tutoring, we have observed that students learn best when they have their lessons every week and not on a chaotic schedule. Furthermore, we have observed that two lessons provide optimal results because they are sustainable yet effective. 

Payments In Advance

All our clients pay a flat rate of R350 per hour. This rate does not change under any circumstances. Furthermore, we take all payments in advance. All lessons are paid for once a month. This ensures smooth relationships between all stake holders.

Long Term Tutoring

The results of tutoring only show up after six months. You do not go to the gym this week and expect abs the next week. The same goes for tutoring, improvement requires time and commitment. This is why we only accept clients who are willing to work with us for the long term and do not offer short-term tutoring.

During this time, we ensure that we always monitor the progress of our students and provide monthly reports about their progress. Thus bringing them closer to success.

Learning Portal

We use a learning portal to ensure that our tutoring is effective. Through this portal, we are able to provide resources and communicate effectively. Furthermore, we always make sure that we use technology and tools to keep our students learning effectively.
